Sensory Profile Explorer

A checklist I built for noticing how a child responds to movement, touch, sound, sight, taste and smell, and seeing the pattern take shape as you go.

ProprioceptionTouchVestibularHearingVisionTaste & smell

How it works

  1. Rate what you see

138 everyday responses, from never to very frequently. Skip anything you haven’t seen.

  2. Watch the profile form

A live 3D chart shows six systems (proprioception, touch, vestibular, hearing, vision, taste and smell) as over-responsive, under-responsive or seeking.

  3. Print, save or email

Choose what to include, add a date and a client ID, then print it, save it as a PDF, or have the PDF emailed to you.

Bring the printout to our first session. It gives us a real head start. IJ

Good to know

It’s not a diagnosis

Patterns are a starting point for a conversation, not a label. A proper assessment looks at the whole picture.

Private by design

You can add your email at the start if you’d like the results emailed to you; it’s optional. Your ratings stay on your device and are cleared when you close the page, unless you choose to email or print them.

Written for school settings

Items refer to “the student”. At home, just read that as your child.
